New Release 2025.2
Manage the Secure Release Order (SRO) directly in your freight forwarding software
In the “Ocean Freight Import” module, there is now a deep link to the “Availability” section of the German Ports platform. This takes you directly to the German Ports website and to the overview for managing the corresponding pick-up authorization. Without any additional data entry, you can transfer the “digital authorization” to a service provider, retrieve it, or assign it to another service provider at any of the three ports (Hamburg, Bremerhaven, and Wilhelmshaven).
An additional interface to the "Authorizations" sections of German Ports also allows you to automatically view all status messages relating to your "digital authorizations" at any time. If you are interested, please contact our sales department (sales@dakosy.de).
Expanded language selections: French and Italian
The user interfaces and the entire user guidance system for ZODIAK GE and DAKOSY GE are now also available in French and Italian. This was a request from our customers in Switzerland. Previously, only German and English were available. Responses from Swiss customs are now returned automatically in your chosen language. German customs (ATLAS) will continue to send its responses in German and English as previously. These two language options will continue to be used for support communication, training materials, and online help from DAKOSY.
New customs warehouse module for ZODIAK GE Switzerland
The new customs warehouse accounting system allows you to move goods items in and out of your warehousing system according to specific characteristics. All the necessary assessments can also be generated and exported for submission to Swiss customs. The module has been developed in accordance with Swiss customs regulations, meaning it can be easily connected to the new Passar customs system version 3.0 (planned for 2027). Export processing using the new Passar customs system
Through the end of 2025, exports can be processed either by using the old e-dec customs system or the new Passar system. Starting as of January 1, 2026, the e-dec system can only be used for the export of tobacco products until the transition period ends on May 31, 2026.

Tips and Tricks
Multiple transmission of customs declarations directly from the overview (free of charge)
When you use ZODIAK GE to prepare several customs declarations for any customs procedure, you can submit them to customs all at once. Select the desired customs declarations with a mouse click and the “Control” key, or select an entire block with the mouse and Shift key and then click on “Send to ATLAS.”
Master data import of addresses, goods terms, and tax assessment accounts (fee-based service)
We have simplified and also expanded the master data import process step by step. This means you can now import master data for tax accounts, addresses, and goods items from a CSV file. The import can be performed manually or via an SFTP interface. The rules and requirements will vary depending on the type of master data. The online help section contains further information, such as sample files and training videos. If you are interested, please contact our sales department (sales@dakosy.de).
