Starting on February 24, 2026, we will be rolling out Release 2025.3 with enhancements and new features for all customers of our DAKOSY GE / ZODIAK GE software solutions. Newly included in this release are the Client Messages module for all users in Germany and Switzerland and the “Transport Declaration” customs procedure for our customers in Switzerland.
We will also be phasing out the current HDS and GM01 interfaces at the end of the year. These will be replaced by the new Port Order XML interface, which has already been implemented in the Sea Freight Export module. For more information, please refer to the most recent EMP Newsletter 02.
New in Release 2025.3
Client-Nachrichten (Germany and Switzerland)
The Client Messages module can be used to authorize a user to send messages and notifications to other users within their own company.
For internal message delivery, a variety of settings can be configured:
- immediate or delayed display of the message
- single or repeated display each time you log in to the application
- see the news in a dialog box or as a message in the toolbar at the upper right
For more information about these new features, see Release Note 2025.3.
New analysis tool for CBAM
The regulatory phase of the CO₂ border adjustment mechanism became effective on January 1, 2026. The regulation stipulates that if the annual transport volume of certain goods exceeds 50 tons, only approved CBAM declarants may import these goods into the EU. The ZODIAK GE customs software provides an analysis tool that supports CBAM reporting. You can find the analysis tool under the statistics queries.
Transport Declaration (Switzerland)
For customs clearance in Switzerland, you can use the “Transport Declaration” to submit an advance electronic declaration to customs for a truck or loading unit containing all goods being transported. This advance information provides Swiss customs with greater transparency and reduces the administrative workload. As a customer, you benefit from significantly faster and simpler customs clearance.
With the introduction of Passar 2.0 in early 2027, transport registration is anticipated to become mandatory for all economic operators in Switzerland. The Swiss customs authority Passar is aiming to eliminate physical stops at border crossings, with digitally-registered vehicle license plate numbers triggering the automated customs process.
