New in Release 2026.2
Update of Runtime Environment to Java 21
To ensure that DAKOSY GE continues to operate securely, stably, and at maximal performance in the future, we are currently migrating the DAKOSY GE runtime environment to Java 21. You can find all relevant information, a comprehensive FAQ, and many other details on our website and in the latest Release Notes.
e-Invoicing
The clock is ticking: as of January 1st 2027, e-Invoicing becomes compulsory
Starting with Release 2026.2, you can use the “Outgoing Invoices” module to send invoices to your customers via e-Invoicing. If you are already using or have ordered the “Outgoing Invoices” module, your account will automatically be activated for sending e-Invoices beginning on December 1st. For information on which formats are supported, please refer to our June Newsletter. If you would like to start using this feature before then, please contact our support team (servicedesk@dakosy.de). If you are not yet using our “Outgoing Invoices” module but would like to start sending e-Invoices as of January 2027, please contact our sales team promptly (sales@dakosy.de).
New offering: SEM (Shipment Export Monitoring)
With SEM, you can now simultaneously send multiple export MRNs to ATLAS for presentation at exit. ATLAS will respond by sending you the “Exit Information” provided by the export declarant, which you can then import as goods data into an NCTS transit declaration or an advance exit clearance (e.g., rail transit clearance).
For even greater automation, you can also automatically store the “Exit Information” for the specified export MRNs as goods data in a predefined NCTS transit declaration immediately upon receipt of the data.
Learn more about our new SEM module by contacting our sales team (sales@dakosy.de). The module is fee-based but will deliver significant savings in both working time and effort.
Passar Import (Switzerland)
With the launch of Release 2026.2, you can now test out all the features for the new import procedure using Passar in ZODIAK GE Switzerland—features which Swiss customs is already offering as part of Phase 2. Take advantage of this opportunity and get ready for the new processes. Good to know: to ensure a seamless transition, the existing e-dec Import system will still continue to run in parallel with the new system.
In early 2027, Release 2027.1 will roll out the full range of features for Phase 3 of Passar Import. You should begin handling imports via Passar no later than this point to achieve more convenient, faster, and more efficient import processes.
Be sure to attend our webinar on Passar Import on November 3 from 11:00 - 12:00 to learn about the current status of Passar Import and the ongoing rollout plans in ZODIAK GE. You can find all the relevant information, including the link to register for the webinar, on our Events page.
